......... at the local library .........
I didn't hang around to see who found it and what their reaction was .... I just want to make it, abandon it and daydream that it's in a good home! LOL This is great fun ... I have a few more things ready to abandon.

Art Abandonment - Sharing My Art!
Art Abandonment is a group of artists designed to encourage random acts of art kindness, left in various locations around the globe. The idea is that artists can make something and leave it for a lucky unsuspecting person to find. I love the idea of blessing someone's life with such a random act of kindness.
The project was started by Michael deMeng. You can read the whole story here:
I checked it out on the Facebook page (which I cannot for the LIFE of me figure out how to officially join ... this stuff is so foreign to me!) and was amazed at the pieces of art that are being left around the world for someone to find and enjoy. I thought it would be a perfect situation for me, as I continue to create stuff with no place to go with it .... I'm saturating friends and family .... and LW is taking my stuff to Nashville, but she's been trying to slow down the amount of stuff she takes ...
So I made up some "free art" tags (already working on better looking ones!) ... and I have a couple things packaged up ready to be abandoned. I'm going to stop by my local library on the way home and leave these on a table somewhere secluded:
THEN I have this one ready to go that isn't Christmas themed:
Tomorrow my DH has a dr apt and I'm going to try to leave that one in the waiting room!
